Adapted from the original Mindful Self-Compassion course, this is a chance for parents and teens to connect with themselves and each other.

What you can expect
- A trained teacher, providing a caring and respectful environment. While there will be opportunities to share your thoughts with others, there is never any expectation that you do so. You even have permission to tune out when you need to!
- Engaging activities such as guided meditations, personal reflection and writing, short videos and tactile mindfulness practices
- Comfortable seating and light refreshments

- How to motivate yourself with more kindness rather than criticism
- The importance of connecting with others when you’re struggling
- The importance of experiencing difficult emotions without letting them overwhelm you
- How to pay attention to the things that give you the most joy
- How to live more meaningfully
What to bring
- Meditation bench/cushions/mat, if preferred
- Notebook and pen
- Please wear comfortable clothing.
For noting
- No previous experience with meditation, mindfulness or self-compassion practice is required to attend this course
- Participants should plan to attend every session, except if unwell
- Places are limited to 8 people
Cost
- $550 per parent/teen pair, including learning materials.
PayPal and bank transfer also accepted. When paying by credit card you are still required to complete the registration form below.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made up until 2 weeks prior to the first session will be refunded in full. Bookings cancelled after this period will not be refunded, but may be transferred to a later course.
- Missed sessions will not be refunded, but summary and resources will be provided prior to the next session.
