Failure. Overwhelm. Shame. Fear. Stress. Regret. Burnout. Inadequacy. Inner turmoil. Conflict with others. These experiences are an inescapable part of life. However, we’re often unable to respond to ourselves kindly when they arise, which increases our struggle.
This One Too delivers evidence-informed mindfulness, self-compassion and resilience programs for adults in and around the Australian Capital Territory. We provide the practical skills to reduce self-criticism, strengthen emotional resilience, and build a kinder relationship with yourself and others.
This One Too draws its name from the premise that if we can offer kindness to others when they’re struggling, then we can offer it to this one, meaning ourselves, too.
After participating in our programs, you’ll be able to:
Easily integrate mindfulness and self-compassion practices in daily life
Understand how to respond to internal and external threats in
ways that preserve and promote connection
Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism and judgment
Find more meaning in your relationships
Practice the art of savouring and self-appreciation
Deepen an authentic and loving relationship with yourself
Be your own greatest ally and support in times of stress and anxiety
The group felt safe to share relevant personal stories, in a
non-judgemental space. This is a credit to Melita, who struck a perfect balance of professionalism and care in the sessions.
